Domestic Flights: There are three daily flights to Dharavandhoo – in the morning, noon, and evening. Meet and Greet: Your adventure begins the moment you step off the plane at Dharavandhoo Airport. Our friendly team will be there to warmly welcome you, making you feel at home even before you set foot in our hotel. 4. Option 1: Domestic Flight

  • Arrive at Velana International Airport.

  • Walk to the domestic terminal (approximately 5 minutes).

  • Catch the domestic flight to Dharavandhoo, which you may have booked with the hotel or independently.


Option 2: Speed Boat

  • Head to the number one jetty, in front of the MMA building in Male.

  • Take the speed boat to Dharavandhoo, which is a 2.5-hour journey.

  • The speed boat from Male usually departs at 13:00 hrs.

  • The return trip from Dharavandhoo is typically between 8:00 and 8:45, depending on the weather.

Keep in mind that weather conditions can affect the speed boat trips, and cancellations may occur for safety reasons.

The most famous Maldivean scholar is Shaikh Hussain Salahudhdheen (father of Hon. Ibrahim Shihab, Hon.Adnan Hussain, First lady Her Excellency Fathimath Saeed (Wife of Amimn Didi), First lady Her Excellency Mariyam Saeed (Wife of President Ibrahim Nasir)and His Brother Abdullah Kamaludhdheen (father of Chief Justice Shaikh Mohamed Jameel Didi and Moosa Jameel)'s mother Thuththu Manike is a grand daughter of Dharavandhoo Edhuru kaleyfaanu. Famous poets Mr.Yoosuf Alifulhu and Mr.Saeed Alifulhu are also from EdhuruKaleyfaanu family. Mr.Ahmed Nashid and Mr.Abdullah Muaz are also well known poets in Maldives

Scuba Diving from Dharavandhoo
